ROCK HOUSE
www.rockhousebahamas.comRock House has been a vibrant and colorful feature of the Harbour Island landscape since the early 1940’s. Originally built as a Bed & Breakfast, it has evolved over the years from hotel to rental property and back to hotel again. In July of 2002 the property was offered for sale and it caught the interest of the well-known and well-established South Florida builder J. Wallace Tutt III. Builder for celebrities such as the late Gianni Versace and Cher, he had a vision of turning the property into a boutique hotel. Along with the adjoining historic Catholic School House, Tutt had the concept of making the two properties one, and create a casual yet elegant atmosphere, encompassing hotel, casual grill and elegant fine dining all in one small compound. The project began in August 2002 and Rock House grew into the gem that it is today. It offers 10 spacious king size bedded rooms, one of which is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath Suite with whirlpool tub, mini bar and a full living room.
