Hide Out in one of the colorful secluded garden cottages, just steps from the docks, and imagine yourself as one of the original Club members. Regardless, they’re all styled in a comfortable "out island" décor..not fancy or fussy, just down right comfortable and functional. Kindly note, as water is a precious resource on Bimini, resort guestroom and cottage bathrooms offer only showers; suites, however the suites do come with Jacuzzi tubs.

Bimini Sands Resort & Marina is creating a brand new experience on the island of Bimini with the Bimini Nature Trail. The islands of Bimini are legendary for their marine thrills, but there is another side to the island rarely seen by visitors. The Bimini Nature Trail is open for both guided and self-guided tours. Self-guided tours give visitors a chance to take in the scenery at their own pace, whether you want to use the trail for a morning jog or an all day adventure. The Bimini Nature Trail has several signs highlighting the plants and wildlife found along the way, so that anyone entering the trail can exit it with a better understanding of Bimini’s natural wonders. Guided tours are lead by one of our professional guides, each of which have years of experience with Bimini’s unique wildlife. Visitors will not only be able to learn more about Bimini’s animal and plant life, but also hear stories about the ecology and history of Bimini that aren’t offered anywhere else. Imagine this-you are out on the water, there is a slight breeze, the water is perfectly clear, you are the only boat around and you can just see Bimini on the horizon…then someone says-dolphins over there!!!! We slowly move over to a couple of dolphins that are lazily moving through the water and float with the boat next to them for a while. As we are floating with them the two dolphins multiply from two to almost thirty in number. After a while we gently slip into the water-not the prettiest thing a dolphin ever saw-our human pod slowly swam together towards the dolphin pod which slowly swam to our human pod and all met face to face-each stopped and floated together looking at each other. It was an amazing beautiful experience to be watching-almost as if time had stood still. For over two hours the dolphin stayed in the same spot interacting with each other and our human pod-only inches from each other with amazing eye to eye contact-the dolphins making all the advances and our human pod just floating there-it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Mackey’s Sand Bar is Bimini’s newest hot spot. Mackey’s casual island atmosphere includes a sand floor, Bimini ring toss game and eight flat screen TVs tuned to the latest game. Plus live music from Shabazz every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The Sand Bar is located at the Bimini Beach Club and the grounds feature a pool, tiki huts and even a private beach! It is perfect for spending the day relaxing on the beach or to unwind at night after a long day of fishing or diving. Plus, there is dockage if you arrive by boat.
