- The size of your checked free allowance luggage is very important. We suggest that you pack your items in the soft style carry-on type bags or duffle bags measuring no larger than 36"L X 15"W X 15"H.
- Each passenger is allowed to check-in one piece of baggage up to 50 pounds and one carry-on piece up to 10 pounds. There will be a per pound fee on those pieces that exceed the weight limit:
- Cap Haitien and Guantanamo Bay: $2.00/lb
- All other destinations: $0.75/lb
- Additional baggage is also accepted without any weight limit at a rate:
- Cap Haitien and Guantanamo Bay: $2.00/lb
- All other destinations: $0.75/lb
- Any baggage which exceeds these recommendations travels on a space and weight available basis. This means that it may arrive sometime after you do.
IBC Travel follows all guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Warsaw agreement in reference to lost baggage, however, liability limit is a maximum of one hundred U.S. dollars per bag.

How Much Can I Carry On?
You can carry on one bag per passenger as long as:
- They weigh no more than 10 lbs/4.5 kgs
- The bag is no more than 45 inches when you add the length + width + height so that it fits in an overhead bin or under the seat.
Personal items include: backpack purse, briefcase, laptop OR a similar item such as book bag or tote that does not exceed 36 inches (length+width+height) and fits under the seat.
Additional items that will be allowed above and beyond the restrictions listed above include:
- Outerwear such as coats/wraps/hats
- Book or newspaper
- Small bag of food to eat on the flight
- Approved safety seat for lap or ticketed child
- Umbrella stroller for lap or ticketed child
- Diaper bag for lap or ticketed child
- Assistive devices for passengers such as wheelchairs and walkers
Fishing and Diving Gear:
These items are permitted and will be included with your baggage weight. Fishing poles need to be 7 feet or less and we request that you break them down if possible.
Surfboards:
Passengers may take surfboards at an additional charge of $50.00 each way, space permitting. No exceptions.
Hazardous Materials:
IBC Travel does not transport hazardous materials, however, we do have a partner that is capable. Please contact our office for more details 754-200-0005.
Fuel Surcharge:
Do to the rising cost fuel will impose a fuel surcharge to all by the seat and charter customers. This charge will fluctuate with the current cost of fuel.
